Omg! Gareth David-Lloyd is coming to Supanova in Australia next year! I can't believe this. Yay! I was going to go to the con anyway but now I'm extra excited for it. James Marsters and Karl Urban is going to be there too. This is so awesome. This is going to be my first time at Supanova and wow, so many people I want to see. So excited! I' squeeing like an over-excited fangirl but right now I really don't care.

Just a post to celebrate my new shiny Gareth David-Lloyd tag, which I need now since he is no longer a part of Torchwood anymore. This still makes me incredibly sad. Torchwood aghast aside, I'm really glad he is keeping busy because I think he's too good of an actor to just disappear in obscurity. So I hope he gets more TV gigs soon. Right now though I'm really enjoying the new web series he is starring in called Girl Number 9. Check it out if you haven't already.

I am a glutton for punishment because I sign up for yet another fanfiction challenge. This time for a Merlin fairy tale based prompt challenge, tobreakthespell. My prompt for this challenge is a German fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm called Maid Maleen. Should be interesting. Hopefully I can finish this one too.

I signed up for the reel_torchwood challenge. My prompt is the movie Miss Congeniality. Here's hoping that I actually finish this and not abandon it like the many other challenges I have yet to complete Dx

So I really wanted to send a letter to Gareth David-Lloyd. I was going to try a couple of different ways in order to try to get it to him since I'm pretty sure my first attempt was an absolute failure. Truthfully I'm not really sure whether or not he was going to receive my letter at all or even how long it would take for him to get it. Well, now I can be sure that it will definitely delivered xD.

A couple of fans are meeting up in Cardiff and are going to attend a book signing in which Gareth will be present. Anyway they are putting together a book of fan letters for Gareth and are going to personally give it to him on the day. I asked tiggerbrasilf about it and was told that I could email my letter to the group and they will include it in the book for him. There's not much information about the book itself on the page that was made for the meet-up but when I asked about it I was given an email address to send the letter to: jones.ianto.jones.007@googlemail.com

Just thought the book was a great idea. Especially for those of us who live all the way on the other side of the world who just would really like to let him know how much we appreciate and love him as Ianto Jones.

I woke up this morning hoping to catch the latest episode of Torchwood and get my dose of the show for the day and well, I guess mission accomplished. Only problem is instead of leaving me with a smile and some good memories I am now a crying, blubbering mess. I'm so heartbroken right now.

I haven't posted in this journal for so long. Not since my Naruto, Skins and Torchwood love has somewhat calmed down somewhat. But omg, 439 of the Naruto manga has just turned me into a squeeing fangirl again. The reason, one word: MINATO!!!

Oh and of course Naruto. My heart was breaking for him in this chapter. But even with all the drama, shirtless!angst!Naruto was hot!

Just a post to say I'm not dead and also I drew a picture for my Naruto fic 'The Greatest Enemy'. This is worksafe of course. I can't draw smut even if my life depended on it. 

Anyway it's a picture of Sasuke wearing the doggie hat. I also added Naruto wearing a kitty hat, just because a picture of Sasuke isn't complete without Naruto. Heh. I'm no artist and I'm not an expert at Photoshop so it's nothing great. I just remembered someone saying something about wanting to see what Sasuke looks like with the hat and so I did this. 

As for the fic itself, I'm working on it. I just can't really think of anything at the moment. Though I might write something about a kitty!Naruto. I'm also working on my other fics. Although I'm developing quite a block right now. Since I've finished my exams I'll try my best to update ASAP.

Zomg, I can't believe this but I converted one of my friends, a friend that couldn't even stand the thought of two guys together, into a Brian and Justin fan. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. I'm still a bit surprised she took to it so well. Also kind of proud she actually gave the show a shot. Especially since the only reason why we were watching it was because we were bored and there was nothing else to watch. I expected for her to ask me to put something else on after episode one where Justin walked into the loft and started thinking and visualizing all the times he and Brian had done it in the place, but she didn't. In fact we got through the whole thing.

When we finished she even asked if we could watch the next season and the other seasons as well. I must say that Justin's prettiness in Season 3 was one of the reasons why she loved it so much. She couldn't stop looking at him and kept on commenting on how pretty he looked. I happily concurred. Needless to say she also loved the chemistry between Gale and Randy, which of course was another drawing factor. 

I'm really amused by all this and like I said proud that she even gave it a shot. I started reading fluffy fanfics about two guys with crushes on each other where all they ever did was kiss before I even started to look at other stuff. Like yaoi manga and anime. It was only after that did I finally watch Queer as Folk and was able to fully appreciate the show without feeling sqeamish about all the sex and nudity. So yeah, to go from being weirded out by the very thought of two guys kissing to watching Queer as Folk is a very big step for her. And now I have someone to talk to about one of my favorite shows. Hee.
